Our 36' Topaz the Barbarossa has an incredible day going 3 for 6 on Blue Marlin !
Once of the most exciting things about Big Game Sportfishing is that you just never know from Day to Day, what surprises will surface from the depths and find their way onto your hook.
Our 36' Topaz the Barbarossa treated their guests to a very unusal August day on the water. While fishing their guests for Sailfish, during this time of year when the Billfish bite has slowed substantially, Capt. Dahvid happened upon a large group of Migrating Blue Marlin.
Over the course of the next several hours, and after several pairs of tired backs and forearms, their guests released a total of 3 Blue Marlin out of 6 raised! Absolutly incredible for the month of August.
Congratulations to this top producing Captain and crew for a phenominal day on the water and such a great accompishment. Our strongest Marlin run here traditionally fires off from November through Mid-January.
